2016 was a year to forget for some, but for Kindred, it was definitely a year to remember. Culminating in our Commendation at The Drum Social Buzz Awards, 2016 saw Kindred take home a haul of awards worthy of a celebration or two.
This was the year that Kindred went global – our multi award-winning #18toWin campaign for FOX Sports brought us a CLIO, and was also recognised at the Mashies, and the M&M Global awards.
We were over the moon to be awarded an IPA Effectiveness award for our work for the Department of Education, for our ‘Start your adoption story’ campaign. A brilliant and very worthy cause; it’s also estimated that the ROI for this activity was 10:1 which meant great savings for the public purse.
Our podcast series for Penguin Random House was selected for a Jury Prize at the BIMAs, as well as being celebrated at The Drum Marketing awards and the w3 awards. Over half a million people have listened, and the series was selected by iTunes as one of their ‘Best of the Year’.
From music videos, podcasts and Twitter parties, to public sector and internal comms, Kindred’s successes reflect the varied nature of the work we do for our clients, and our cross-discipline expertise.
A total of 11 industry awards and numerous shortlists and commendations, means that we need a little more space in the cabinet.
